More About RAK Academy 4x4

RAK Academy 4x4 was a student engineering team that competed in the Development Category of the 4x4 in Schools STEM Challenge 2025. The project required designing and constructing a remote-controlled four-wheel-drive vehicle engineered to clear complex all-terrain obstacle courses while conforming to exact technical guidelines.

Serving as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), I assumed full responsibility for the project's commercial viability and operational funding. My primary focus was establishing a robust financial framework to scale the team's engineering capabilities:

• Capital Development: Authored comprehensive corporate sponsorship proposals and pitched to corporate entities, successfully securing the financial backing and industry resources required to fund our technical manufacturing.
• Strategic Resource Allocation: Devised and regulated a structured procurement budget, tracking expenditures across raw materials, manufacturing components, and marketing assets to maintain a lean, zero-deficit operation.
• Cross-Disciplinary Integration: Aligned fiscal constraints with technical milestones, collaborating closely with the engineering team to optimize resource spending for high-yield performance components.
