More About Mechatronics

Mechatronics was a highly focused competitive robotics team that participated in the FIRST LEGO League 2026. The program challenged teams to design, program, and build an autonomous industrial robot capable of executing intricate tasks on a themed playing field, while managing the logistical and operational footprint of the competitive campaign.

Serving as the Lead LEGO Constructor, I took complete ownership of the physical construction phase, translating conceptual ideas into a structurally sound robotic platform:

• Mechanical Prototyping: Engineered the robot's physical chassis and structural layout using specialized components, conducting rigorous physical testing to optimize weight distribution, stability, and spatial efficiency.
• Modular Attachments: Developed interchangeable gear systems and motorized active attachments tailored to interface with specific mission objectives on the field.
• Structural Optimization: Tested and refined the structural integrity of the build to withstand continuous operational stress and impact, ensuring high precision during execution.

Simultaneously acting as the team's Chief Financial Officer (CFO), I built the underlying business infrastructure necessary to support our engineering goals:

• Sponsorship Procurement: Drafted comprehensive partnership presentations and pitched to prospective stakeholders to secure essential funding and material resources.
• Fiscal Governance: Created a strict financial ledger to track expenditures across electronics, software licenses, logistics, and raw assembly materials, preventing budget overruns.
• Resource Coordination: Balanced financial constraints with engineering demands, prioritizing the allocation of funds toward high-impact components that directly improved the robot's competitive performance.
